Bloating
02:37
|
|||
yellow hair in the water
little Judy went for a swim
Rex Mort Amphibia
laid in the water
to drink that pretty yellow hair in
waiting to drink her in
pop-eyed
pop-eyed
swelled tongue rolls
there’s a dolly on the sea
a dolly on the tide
a dolly on the shoals
bloat, bloat, bloating
she spins and bobs and jerks
and dives beneath the
the dingy bleep

Solar Myth
02:09
|
|||
labor is the glory of a free people
wavy fields of grain
white church steeples
threatened earth imperiled sun
leave the farm and get a gun
the myth is dead
the myth is dead
profit is the ruin of a free people
religion just reduces
turns the strong into sheep
who’s forefathers
who’s rich fathers
favor is the glory
but what’s the story

Tangled Nico
01:44
|
|||
hair in knots
radiant
combing hair divinates
someone’s doom
unawares each night
before the bed
100 blows
gasps in the brush
in her hair
in her room
caught in the mirror
the pale rattle of
100 agonies
wailing in combs of horn
gathering gloom
coagulates
engulfs her head
in veils of doom

Big Blue Blade Car
02:05
|

big blue blade car
in the night
signal bleeds
turns next right
cadillac dragon looking for a fight
passenger is yellow
driver is white
big blue blade car
drives through the night

Snowmen
02:25
|
|||
gravel eye-balls
carrot-noses them
swollen-headed
lawn-loitering them
snowmen come in the night
in the white drifts
la la la la la la la la
erected rigidly
right out-side
thin glass windows
buzzing snow-sound,
snowbound snowmen
icy rumbling
hear them grumbling
they are not articulate
la la la la la la la la
snowmen
they are coming for me

Bird of Another Tree
02:59
|
|||
that was the bird of another tree
a spindle-legged kidney
a billiulous bladder bounced
and pirouetting slow
a shiny eel wiggling raw
a rubber glove and Wesson oiled
a can of untried virgin spam
an old banana spoiled
a panicked laundry inside out
additive hamburger heavily sauced
a flash-bulb popped
and bleak
a tongueless shoe dirty and lost
that was the bird of another tree
a black-beaked thumb
an eye,
a tongue of ruffled greasy silk
canar’d sound of curdled milk

Jenny North
01:09
|
|||
why?
what do you mean?
two be adored
you’re in four
fate is the snake’s eyes
on the dice
president purple
your cord’s tied off
your neck is sore
in the north north north
at the mouth of the cervix
hesitant angel’s device
whispers you’re “five”
in the eye-white headlight
thin diaphragm
of an eardrum
at the gate
vibrates
boom boom boom boom
screaming
your headless head

Desolation's Child
02:49
|
|||
Lady Tulip lies
pallid on the ground
in her state of mind
no thoughts will get her down
laying under the snow
she’s a flower wanting to bloom
the tips of her breasts
they are missing
her fingers are purple and blue
there are signs of a struggle
a stone lodged in the seat of her dreams
golden hair on the wind
a veil hung on thistles and screams
in the riot of color
her brain it is liquid
her lips have drawn back
swollen the bride is distended
her skin is shiny and black
pink panties are rolled down
ankles tightly bound
on a yellow lawn
next spring she’ll be found
Desolation’s Child
where foliates grow wild
all traces of intrusion
vanish with her smile
bees and butterflies play
at the holes in her moon-face
the grass shall pierce
the pellucid webs of her fingers
make her hands into lace
...such delicate lace

Ediesong
04:04
|
|||
your fingers are shaking
come on put on your make-up
you’ve had all afternoon to wake up
amphetamine baby
crystal methadrine
purer than the blood
spider-black eyes and ermine hair
up in the sky
just another slice of the pie
smothers in her brown hair
Edie-do dah
Edie-don’t die
Edie-do-die
only histories receive you
they fucked you over, baby
they fucked your lights out
ahh, would you have it any other way?
what would you believe?
caught in a golden frame
what did she see
combing her hair in the factory?
what do you believe?

Seraphine
03:51
|
|||
Seraphine was the queen of the Symbolist Cinema
she was so sensitive
when the sunset was too brilliant
she had to retire to her room
to rest for a week
she slept on swan’s down
the smell of flowers made her swoon
dead away
oooooooo
tu jours
champaign
black poppy smoke

Burned by Sugar
01:41
|
|||
burned by sugar
charred angel emaiciates
sweet lies in childrens’ song
trigger cavity initiates
flowers of evil full-blown
into a garden of brains
the tares have grown

Randy and the Randies Portland, Oregon
Jennifer Lobianco, Randy Moe, Steve Lee Reade and Philip Zimmerman were a Portland band in existence from 1979 to 1982. Super-obscure and defying easy catagorization, they are of the Portland music lineage traced back through Jennifer to Formica and the Bitches and the Neoboys, becoming the strange little brother band to these more famous underground greats. ... more
